Although it was a real thrill for me to see Mondo on TV, I don't recommend Michelangelo's brand of counseling: "You're not really bad, you were made that way by Mr. X!"

MWS's Mondo Gecko is yet another poor youth of society who refuses to own up to his own personal responsibility in the choices he made. Perhaps Mr. X was an analogy for MWS? Hmm...

I love how in this episode the other two goons send Mike down the twisty mountain road in a truck without a driver, but the truck manages to stay on the road the whole time. Cartoon physics rock.

I'd like to know who came up with all the other characters for the old show, was it Mirage staff? or people who worked on the toon at fred wolf?

Hi vaughn! It was Fred and his writers.

Wow really! I had no idea very interesting, Peter claims to have the rights to all the old toon characters.
But I'd bet ones like Titanus and Lord Dregg may be off that list, if some one else came up with them.
Unless of course anything created for the show became the property of Mirage even if they didn't create it.
Very interesting to know, thanks so much!

-->> ..wow ..was to my unserstanding as well that Titanus, Dregg Et. Al ..
fell under th eMirage Umbrella. Not FWF .

It's my understanding that Mirage now owns and controls the rights to all the characters in the original animated series.

oooooooooooo then they really should do something with them.
I hope if this NECa figure deal keeps doing well that we could get some figures based on characters from the old toon.
It was such a shame that they never made figures of allot of old toon characters like Tempestra.
Hell I'd kill for toon acurate Rocksteady & Bebop figures to.
I really doubt I'll see those in my life time though. :(
It's a shame to there's such a huge market for this old toon stuff.
Maybe some day even though the aniversry is coming up and would be the perfect time to start a classic toon tmnt line of figurs.

Never say never vaughn. It's early in the TMNT's retro life. A lot more stuff will happen as time goes on. Pete has brought up quite a few interesting proposals and ideas lately, none of which I can speak of of course.
I know of one that totally floored me when he mentioned it. Murph and I are busily bringing it to fruition as we speak.

Awesome!! What ever it is, if you're floored then I am also, seems that perhaps Peters starting to lightenup to past things.
That makes me feel a bit better about things.
See I'm not one of those people who nag about oh so and so a character should be in the new show or comics.
But I don't see any reason why the toyline can expand into a retro sub-line. :)
