The End

Merry Christmas one and all!

Finally we have Leatherhead and Captain Mossback from the
animation bible.
One thing you might have noticed is the wrist band communicators on all the Mighty Mutanimals . This was a concept developed for the show strictly for merchandising purposes.

Children could wear them and push a button to hear all the different Mutanimals characters shout out their own particular catch phrases.

Whatever they might have been...

This brings to a close the posting of the pitch for an animated Mighty Mutanimals television show and what might have been.

It's been fun going through all this old stuff and I have to say it brings back loads of wonderful memories.

Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did.

Only one last thing to say and that's...

Mighty Mutanimals R.I.P.

Man, this woulda' been a wild and wacky cartoon. I love that Leatherhead... Would he have been villain, or hero?

Am I gonna get roasted over the coals for saying the old TMNT cartoon Leatherhead was my favorite? I can't get enough of that Justin Wilson accent! I gay-ron-TEE!

Wait -- nevermind, I just saw the thing on his wrist, which makes him a Mutanimal.

Still -- he would have made a great villain! They could do a standalone movie about the evil mutant cajun gator in the Louisiana bayou!

Merry Christmas aaron!

Nope, you can like the cajun Leatherhead.

It's just that the 2K3 Leatherhead is closer to the original.

Man. Could have been a wild ride.
Thanks for share guys! and Happy Holidays!

I remember the original Leatherhead -- and I remember how confused I was as a 12 year old, when I first read the comic. "Where's his hat and his accent? Wait -- he's a GOOD guy? WHAAA??!"

At least you kept the awesome costume from the cartoon.

Merry Christmas! I finally got that Leonardo ornament! What better way to celebrate than with a Turtle on yer tree?

make me cry shucks! :(
Leatherhead looks amazing infact I think the best he ever had in that and I've always liked old moss back.
It's sad this has to end.
So what are some of your favorite characters?

Which Leatherhead is this tho? The gator mutated by ooze or the man magically changed into an anthro gator by Mary Bones???

I prefer the Leatherhead of the recent series to the cajun-style one, but I'm still glad you shared this with us, and the R.I.P. at the end was too sad. I still wonder if perhaps you guys could make SOMETHING out of this.

Anyway, thanks again for sharing.

Wow, that Leatherhead looks great.
And I too always liked Mossback.

Hopefully, you mean this is the end of the Mutanimation postings, NOT the end of the blog, right?

Hope you all had a great Christmas! I also had a great birthday on the 26th! Woot!
