Man, These designs are pretty close to the original charachter concepts from the TMNTA and Mutanimals comics. That's realy cool. Again, thanks for sharing!
For some reason Maligna is my least favorite design out of all of these so far..I think perhaps she looks to bland compaired to the rest.
But I do love the story.

If Krang teamed up with Maligna ..what would have become of Shredder ??
Why didn't they look at these characters and at least bring them into Turtles show .. i mean outside of Mondo,Wingnut,Screwloose,Leatherhead, & Scumbug ?! I mean ..some cool stuff woulda happened to TMNT had they looked at this from a different angle,least incorporating into the already existin show. Gee.. :( >v<

Yes, Maligna didn't make the transition as well as some of the other characters. There was some talk of simplifying her quite a bit.

The main focus was on Maligna. The TMNT universe with Shredder wouldn't be affected and was happening simultaneously. Krang was there to lend moral support and advice when needed to Maligna. Maybe provide a new mutant here or there too if needed.

Don't have an answer for you there tokka, other than to say Fred and Playmates had their own agendas.
