Behold! Here is a copy of the Mirage Times. These were available to retailers to pass out in comic stores. Do any of you collect these?

Nice!! This is exactly the kind of thing I would snatch up if I saw it. I think I have a few similar things, but not this exactly.

Course I'm a nut myself but more along the toy side of things lol
I'm still trying to get all of Playmates catalogs.

Wow!
That's awesome!
Do you guys still make a newsletter or anything like that? (Even if it's internally?)

How many people work at Mirage nowadays anyhow?

Has Jim discovered the fountain of youth? He doesn't seem to age in any of these pictures :). Just like Pat Sajak :)...

Anyone have any pictures of the turtles and April touring the city? Interested in seeing who they got to play the part, heh

Like Rosie, if I saw these, I'd probably try and grab them. And she's not the only one who gets in the unusual, I do own a poster to said Portsmouth con of 92...

Actual Mirage Studios paraphernalia has to be hard to come by. I don't remember a lot of stuff until this period. The original press release, the Cerebus poster and various cover flats that Pete and Kev used to hand out come to mind. I have some old office notepads.

That's really cool! I didn't know Mirage published stuff like this. It's like a snapshot of the turtles' history. How long did the Mirage Times last, and how many issues were there?

Roseangelo said...

At least 17 issues.

We vote for Rose to be chief archivist and curator of the TMNT museum.

Aye, she's got my vote, too. Thanks for the info, Rose!
