This is a great drawing. I love all the little details and drawings of past TMNT covers. So fun. I can look at this all day long. Thanks for making it a larger file too. I'm gonna use it for my desktop. he he!
This pic was indeed printed in color, on the back cover of TMNT vol.1 n°15.
By the way, digging through my old issues, I stumbled upon the pin-up you did for the the 4th printing of TMNT vol.1 n°1. I believe you were the first one to ever put a katana in April's hands, way back in '85! Talk about foreshadowing...

Congrats jaf! You're the first to notice that! Finally....after all these years!
I just thought it'd be natural for her...
Can you imagine my surprise when I first read the message from Pete and Kev in that issue's letters column?

I love that drawing! Didn't it end up as a "pin-up" in one of the comics or books or something? Wasn't it colored?....
This is one of my favorites!
Yes, I believe it was colored somewhere...
yes its on the back of one of the early comics in color.

We forgot all about this being printed.
That is kewl. Which issue was this printed in??? I wanna see it in colour.
Funny to see the Alien there. And Thing's on top of the shelf next to a Triceratops. *lol*
