I don't know if any of you guitar heroes remember this or not, but did any of you actually play the song by Mondo Gecko's band, Merciless Slaughter, transcribed between the panels of Archie TMNT Adventures #18 ?

Here's Dan "Metal God" Berger, new editior-in-chief of the vast Mirage Studios publishing empire with a couple of his guitars. This pic is circa 1991 and was taken at our practice space at 221 Lee road in South Deerfield. We ( Dan,Eric,Wally and I) were getting ready to play Sheehan's in downtown Northampton. We brought the house down that night with a killer rendition of Ring of Fire (as covered by Social Distortion) as well as many other cherished classics. Alot of turtle artwork was done with Social Distortion playing on the jam box.
Notice my Mountain Dew can lying on the floor and the Ralston-Purina Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cereal store displays leaning against the wall in the background. They are sealed in their shipping boxes.
