With Halloween fast approaching we thought it relevant to mention this marvelous misprinting of Turtle Soup.
Imagine our surprise when we opened the box and found this fiasco, a Tales cover stapled to the interiors of the new Mirage title Turtle Soup.
Can't remember if any them shipped or not. This one has been kicking around the studio for over 20 years and has seen better days.
Take a look at that snazzy ad on the last page. Did any of you attend the show that year and purchase the limited edition tour shirt? Ah, those were the days!

I recall the TMNT v.2 #13 having a run of where all the covers were on backwards. I have a few of those here.

Nice. I know other issues had similar misprints, but I haven't been able to track any down. I think I'm going to focus on finishing my volume 1 & 2 collection before looking for "variants" like this. Cool find, though! Thanks for sharing.

Would have been nice if they had said something about it...
I was going to bid, but then I was out of town for the auction.
By the way, they have listed Ryan Brown as attending NYCC '09 on the NYCC website! Yay!!!! I can't wait to meet you in person, Ryan, and maybe get you to sign a couple of stacks of comics :D
