Wingnut.2

Back in the day I tried to keep eveything I could that had anything to do with anything I created. I still have these pics of the original sculpture of Wingnut that Playmates gave to me. Playmates also gave me the original paint master of Wingnut and it's here in a case, on a shelf, in my studio. Playmates sculpts were so intense back then. Best in the biz.

Although I created the batty hero it was Murph who gave him his schizoid personality and created his tragic origin on Huano. Murph also, quite brilliantly I might add, created the weird, symbiotic relationship between Wingnut and the mosquito, Screwloose.

These "behind-the -scenes" posts are great. Please keep it up. Wingnut is a fantastic creation.

Huano, planet of bat poo. We had such fun those days sneaking little subversive turds like this past the Archie editors. :)

Ah,yes...there are still a lot of stories to be told from the bat-planet of Huano.

And that would be one of the many reasons why I love me the Archie comics. :)

hahah at all of this such greatness all around!
I agree with you 100% if the sculpts on the turtle figures where even half as good as they where with these older ones Playmates wouldn't have a thing to worry about.
I'd like to think they're stuck in the past but the past is better than what we have now..

Murph and I have talked numerous times about numerous ways to bring back the Mutanimals or the Archie universe. It's very much on our minds but as of yet the fates are against us...

But if the chance ever arose we'd jump at it.

And we'd all jump at buying them!
