Looks like Steve penciled this straight from the spread in the first issue of TMNT. Licensees liked to request poses from
the original comics.

    I spent New Year's Day returning the TMNT shirt I got with the "fake" vintage art, and exhanging it for one with AUTHENTIC vintage art... How could someone not be able to tell the difference?!
