I can't help but wonder what's up with Leo's costume? I've only managed to read up to around issue 40 of the Archies run, and I don't recall this scene. Is this from one of the specials, or is it from the main TMNTA title?
I alays thought that was Mike lol Maybe it's because it reminded me so muc of Rapper Mike from the 90's tmnt line of figures. See though even that drawing is more creative than the figure that's being made at the moment. It's not the ideas to me that are really that bad it's the poor execution. That and I'm sick of the movie styled figures, why not try something new now that the movie is long done with.

I have to laugh at something that never hit me until just now. It's so funny how the turtles are dressed up so one will freak out over them yet splinters head is not coverd at all hahahahha

LOL @ the Mikey in drag comments! I still laugh every time I watch "It Came From Beneath the Sewers." It's just so outrageous that Mikey has to dress up like that in order to attract a mutant plant.

It's from the the regular series, issue #20.
The Splinter in these particular Archie editions was always one of my favorites; he has such a great pairing of comic book and animation design.

For the record it's actually P Mikey. Don is dressed in drag and Leo is disguised as the Hasidic Jew. Oy vey!
