  1. Heh, I remember this :)
If P Don wil be a figure, will they also make a Jewish Leo? :)

  2. Flava Flav!!! I guess this proves that Don can be a DJ/rapper. :)

I can't help but wonder what's up with Leo's costume? I've only managed to read up to around issue 40 of the Archies run, and I don't recall this scene. Is this from one of the specials, or is it from the main TMNTA title?

  4. The Splinter in these particular Archie editions was always one of my favorites; he has such a great pairing of comic book and animation design.

  5. Is that Mikey that's the "old lady"?

  7. I alays thought that was Mike lol
Maybe it's because it reminded me so muc of Rapper Mike from the 90's tmnt line of figures.
See though even that drawing is more creative than the figure that's being made at the moment.
It's not the ideas to me that are really that bad it's the poor execution.
That and I'm sick of the movie styled figures, why not try something new now that the movie is long done with.

  8. -->> .. i mostly recall Mikey dressed in elderly drag in that issue.

He seems to have a fondness for crocheted over-the-shoulder shawls, moo moos, and control-top panty hose.

  10. HAHAHAHA, those were the best disguises they had in the Archies, by far.... I remember Leo's curls especially well.

Mikey didn't dress in drag until the 2 K 3 series.

-->> ..how can that be.. ??

He was trying to attract a monster plant.

Plants are both male and female !!

.. so he was only in 1/2 drag.

  20. Apologies! I was posting quickly between work projects and meant to only have P Donnie as the title and explain it was actually mike in the text but my mind got lost in the mess and I forgot. Oy...vey!

  21. I also hate it when I lose my mind in a mess. I mean, at least when you lose your keys you (hopefully) have a backup set to fall back on!

D'oh! Whelp, my brain is officially on vacation. I'm going to have to re-read my older issues. Thanks for the info!

LOL @ the Mikey in drag comments! I still laugh every time I watch "It Came From Beneath the Sewers." It's just so outrageous that Mikey has to dress up like that in order to attract a mutant plant.
